Barbara
provides legal counsel to individuals and businesses in the
areas real estate law, business counsel, commercial transactions,
banking law and common interest developments. Barbara represents
clients in complex commercial property transactions as well as
individual residential property owners in a variety of real estate
transactions and disputes, including commercial and residential
sales and leasing. Barbara provides advice and assistance in
establishing businesses and advises clients on a wide range of
business issues, from selecting and forming the right business
entity to the acquisition of other companies by merger or the
sale of assets. Barbara acts as outside general counsel for many
companies, advising them with practical solutions to a full range
of concerns including employment issues, regulatory considerations,
and financing issues. Barbara has experience with negotiating
and documenting commercial transactions including sales of businesses,
equipment sales, private financing transactions, promissory notes
and security agreements. Barbara provides general counsel services
to common interest developments, including planned communities
and residential and commercial condominiums.
